Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) Bucharest 2017 Highlights

Published: September 10, 2017 |Updated: June 29, 2020

This year’s second blockbusting Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) event has come to an end.

The complimentary 5-star experience with a poker tournament, dinners, parties and, more importantly, meeting lots of great people, were all part of the Bucharest experience. Here’s a quick summary and why it’s probably the best conference in the business.

Hosted by just 6 operators – GoWild, Casumo, Twin, Karamba, 10Bet and GiG – it was, as they planned, a sea of affiliates and not the affiliate managers. This means a tonne of networking and mingling among like-minded guys and gals, who run great sites in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, UK… you name it.

The family-like care started from day 1, with the flights and complimentary 5-star experience at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, where by the way, you can stream and play Evolution’s Dual Play Roulette live from the hotel’s casino right now.

The reception quickly followed by a dinner hosted by one of the sponsors – in my case GoWild – and a freeroll poker tourney right next door, where everyone had a blast well past midnight (image below).

The second-day casino presentations, lectures and speed dating set a nice beginning for the first-class dinner at Bucharest’s beautiful Herăstrău Park and party at the nearby nightclub Yacht Club.

While the third day began not so ambitiously for many, there was plenty of time to catch up with both affiliates and partners like Casumo, and even take another glimpse at the beautiful old town and taste local food.

It’s probably better to see it for yourself – stay tuned for the AGS Bucharest 2017 video!

Meanwhile, see how they did it in Tallinn earlier this year:

Overall, it’s been an absolute pleasure and an experience to remember. For webmasters alike, keep an eye on the AGS vol. 3 that’s coming in 2018; and if you feel like you could be on the next invite list, then don’t hesitate to get in touch with the hosts personally.

For players reading this and thinking what it’s all about, then ultimately this was done with you in mind: to provide you with better content and bonuses, at the very least.

Finally, thanks to the amazing organisers behind the AGS and SiGMA – Marius, Eman, Jarek, Laima and Sophie – as well as sponsors like GoWild Casino, it’s been a trip to remember for many years to come.
