Relax Gaming
Relax Gaming Slot Reviews
Relax Gaming is a fast-growing iGaming company which is best known for their popular slots like Temple Tumble MegaWays, Money Train 2 and Hellcatraz. The casino heritage comes from 2013 where Relax was the platform behind such suppliers as Quickspin and others. But it wasn’t until 2018 when they released their first in-house slot game Erik The Red, followed by around 12 more original slot titles every year since then. Here is everything you need to know about this developer and the best slot sites where you can play their games.
Latest Reviews
Relax Gaming has been releasing one game per month since 2019. Here you’ll find full reviews of the ones which I have taken a closer look at.

Relax Gaming Casinos
Slots made by Relax Gaming can be found at many licensed online casinos. This includes regulated markets like the UK, France, Malta, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden and Denmark. The company does not endorse the practice of variable RTPs, so players don’t need to do any casino-specific research to find the highest RTP offering of their slots. While I would recommend trying their games at any of the casinos below, I would suggest starting with the bigger slot sites, where you may get exclusive early access to some of their games from time to time.

A closer look at more of their slot games.
Relax Gaming was founded by two avid poker players, Patrik Österåker and Jani Tekoniemi in 2010. The company started its journey with a Poker product (with striking caricatures) and Bingo a few years later, which they developed exclusively for Kindred (Unibet).
Even though the studio has no aspirations to become a “huge company”, Relax has now more than 200 employees spread across five offices in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Malta, and Serbia. Tommi Maijala (former Chief Commercial Officer at Kindred Malta) is the current CEO, who replaced Daniel Eskola (now Chief Commercial Officer) in 2019. Read my full interview with Daniel to learn more about their approach to game development.
Games
Relax Gaming has brought on board some of the industry’s most sought-after game developers. This has led to the creation of hit slots like Money Train, Temple Tumble and Hellcatraz. One of their most recent creations, Money Train 2, is believed to join the other classics.
Money Train 2
For high variance game fans, Money Train 2 is a must-try online slot. Doesn’t matter if you’ve played the original or not, the sequel is in many ways better, while still keeping much of the same feel and features. This steam-punk inspired slot has a one-of-a-kind Money Card Bonus and a colossal win potential of 50,000x! Simon Hammon, CPO at Relax Gaming, commented:
The Relax team saw huge potential in developing a sequel that polished the elements of the original game that are responsible for its widespread popularity, whilst addressing the areas that we feel could enhance the player experience. We have to give credit to our team who approached this with a passion to optimise the Money Train gameplay. Their enthusiasm snowballed into a passion project for all involved. For us, just ‘good’ isn’t enough. We strive to be the best – and with Money Train 2, we think we’re as close as can be.
Branded Games
After only ten games in their portfolio, Relax Gaming went on to release not one but two consecutive branded games. Both of them are fight-themed and present two legends: Michael Buffer “The Voice of Champions” and Bruce Buffer “The Voice of MMA”. Combining real green-screen elements and custom recordings, the studio has put on quite a show in these branded slots.
Let’s Get Ready to Rumble
Inspired by the renowned announcement from Michael Buffer, Let’s Get Ready To Rumble may be one of the greatest boxing slots. Featuring 466 connected ways to win, this low-volatility slot is packed with features, including random Wilds, stacked Wilds, sticky symbols and expanding reels which increase ways to win to 1,436! The game has RTP of 96.14% and a maximum return of up to 2349.4x the original stake.
It’s Time!!
It’s Time!! was created in association with Bruce Buffer. This 6×4 slot may look like from a different genre because of its cartoony graphics, but it too packs a punch with many great bonus features and a high RTP of 96.74%. As players step into the octagon for a chance to win up to 2,500x bet, they will come across random features in the base game and two major bonuses with re-spins.
Relax Gaming RTP
The average theoretical Return to Player (RTP) across 23 of Relax’s games released at the time of writing was 96.5%, which is a very good result. This doesn’t include feature buy RTPs, which are often even higher.
Several suppliers are offering games at multiple RTP levels, which you can learn more about in the Best Payout Online Casino UK article, but this is not something that Relax believes in from an ethics, trust, enjoyment or delivery standpoint. Because of that, as of now all of their games have only one RTP configuration for all casinos.
Relax Gaming slots with the highest RTP include Marching Legions (98.12%) and Epic Joker (97%).
Game Distributor
Relax Gaming may not have many of their own games, but they have hundreds of titles which the company administers as an aggregator (offering distribution service for third-party game developers). There are around 35 developers who have signed up with them over the years, including Fantasma, ReelPlay, 4 The Player, Kalamba Games, Dice Lab, Big Time Gaming, Push Gaming, Quickspin, Nolimit City and Leander.
Being in the distributor role and fostering close connections has some competitive advantages. Among them is better access to popular game mechanics licensed by their partner studios, such as MegaWays by Big Time Gaming and Infinity Reels by ReelPlay.
Relax Gaming MegaWays Slots
Released in February 2019, Temple Tumble is Relax’s first MegaWays slot with 46,656 ways to win and cascading symbol blocks. The best part of the game is the Free Spins bonus with special stone blocks which contain extra spins and win multipliers. This can lead to wins of over 7,700x bet at RTP of 96.25%.
Other notable releases with innovative Big Time Gaming (BTG) mechanics include Kluster Krystals MegaClusters, released on 2nd December 2020. You can read more about MegaClusters in the Star Clusters review.
Infinity Reels
Infinity Reels is another noteworthy slot engine, which the company has secured IP rights.
Following the feature’s instant success, Relax has attained the rights to the trademark and licence on behalf of all its partners, allowing the supplier’s in-house developers, Silver Bullet studios, and Powered By partners the option of incorporating the innovative mechanic into upcoming games.
Made by the Australia-based developer ReelPlay, this reel-crushing mechanic debuted with their release of the blockbuster slot El Dorado Infinity Reels™ in 2019. This unique concept gives each spin the chance to add an additional reel and re-spin with a progressive multiplier. The process of adding reels repeats itself, providing maximised winning potential for players.
Conclusion
Relax Gaming is an award-winning iGaming company which has been on the map for casino players since 2019. They have a full spectrum of slots for all types of players, all of which are unique and well-crafted. The studio has gained a lot of momentum heading into the 2020s, so if they continue at this pace there will be a lot more in store for the slot fans over the coming months and years. Keep an eye on this page for more reviews and give their games a shot next time you’re browsing for premium slots.
Have fun!
